As some of you know, OrgCon 2952 kicked off at Area 18 and was a smashing success. Put on by some of the biggest names in Stanton and featuring almost every big name in news, business and industry, it was an incredible mix of whos who of the upper class and the hard workers from around the system. The Angry Birds representing the Tevarin showed up, led by General Devil's Grace brought a Prowler, escorted by a pair of Talons, easily voted the most exotic presentation. General Grace stands for a generation of humans that grew up with a remnant of Tevarin refugees and follows the Rijora faith. What makes the visit special is that they are usually shot at by the UEE so just being in system was a rare treat. No major convention would be complete without some sort of hiccup and the hiccup was brought to you by EvilOrg. Evil Org was on the guest list and, once aboard with the VIP's, began to give interviews to the hungry reporters who were anxious to interview the leader of the organization who, as a point, never gives them. Leader Steisg brought his crew onboard fully armed and heavily armored, quickly taking the bridge of the RSI Phoenix and took it to orbit, pulling heavy G's which threw the unsuspecting VIP's to the floor and pinned them there under both the high acceleration and the point of high powered rifles. A demand was made for 5 million aUEC in exchange for the lives of those onboard which was refused. Though the pirates were dispatched, it came at the cost of all onboard. As we do in every instance like this, we reached out to the newly reawoken pirate lord for an interview. What makes this interesting is that the pirate is running to be your representative as mayor for Grim Hex. Stesig: I stick to the promises on which I started my campaign: Bigger Landing Pads, More Trade Terminals, High Quality Drugs, Saloons, Brothels, Casinos, New Construction, and Repair Jobs. FF: What about repairing current infrastructure? Stesig: Opening the new landing bays at Grim Hex was a great step forward in completing my promises to deliver for the people. FF: We understand repair jobs but is that for the station or just outsourcing? S (Stesig): Grim Hex needs to put humans to work instead of relying on automation. Elevators, for instance, always need fixing. FF: We notice you say humans exclusively. What are your view of non human workforce S: I will do business with anyone. If Banu or Tevarin etc want to advocate for their people I don't stop them. I just don't have much contact with them. FF: Interesting. So would you say you believe in an open and free market of goods and workers? S: Absolutely. People create demand and I and my associates fill that demand.
