For Immediate Release: 03/23/2954 Knights of Terra Media Relations Around sunset at 1930 hours on Thursday 03/20/2954 various forces clashed on the outskirts of Sunset Mesa, Monox - Pyro II. The engagement appeared to be between forces from the Head Hunters terrorist group and security forces from the Citizens for Prosperity. Apparently around that time, supply shipments provided to the COP by the Knights of Terra (KOT) and Hurston Dynamics came under attack by various Head Hunter faction members. As the shipments were arriving on cargo pads in Sunset Mesa via various cargo and support vessels, they came under attack. Head Hunter forces immediately began attacking the vessels upon landing with an array of hand-held weapons. Turrets on the various vessels immediately began engaging and returning fire against the attackers. A Carrack, owned and operated by the Knights of Terra, provided main fire support for two security teams who had exited the ship to engage the attackers head on. With support from the Carrack and other vessels, KOT security teams were able to slowly establish a perimeter around the cargo loading station and allow for supplies to be unloaded. They also provided urgent medical care to downed cargo service personnel as needed. Eventually the attacking forces were pushed back and retreated to the mountains surrounding Sunset Mesa. ''Without the support from the Knights of Terra and Hurston Dynamics, these supplies would have never made it into the hands of the people, and we likely would have loss this outpost today.'' stated Madge "Dash" Hartford, self-proclaimed leader of the Citizens for Prosperity. ''These attacks have to stop!'' she said. "People rely on these supplies from outside of the system just to get by. Without them, life here is near impossible.'' When asked about the incident, Colonel Gavin E. Hurston said "Without the assistance of the Knights of Terra security force teams and their equipment Hurston Dynamics and the Citizens for Prosperity would have seen major losses today.'' "They are to be commended on their support of not only the Citizens for Prosperity but for all citizens across the 'Verse both in the Pyro and Stanton Systems." When pressed whether or not Hurston Dynamics would now become more involved in the violence inherent in the Pyro System, Colonel Hurston stated, ''Not at this time''. There is no known leader of the Head Hunters but when we reached out to various known members of the organization, we received no comments. It would appear these attacks are not ending anytime soon.
