... you log into Star Citizen ... your avatar awakes ... relaxed ... he does his number one and two, brushes his teeth and takes a shower ... get dressed ... goes for a meal ... you're avatar is feeling fine ... maybe a little workout at the gym to max out some of his (hidden) stats, then a nice and easy cargo job. ... the immersion starts to really get you ... You go for your ship ... and ... got a ticket. The starboard landing pad sensor is broken ... the port security won't let you lift off in a ship like this. You speed back into the port to the ship part dealer. They don't have the original spare part, but one that may fit. You buy this replacement part and due to it's not the original one, your ship's in need of a full technical overview to get a go for your liftoff. You spend the two hours the mechanics need ingame for this doing the cleanup of your bunk at the port. On your way back to your now ready to lift off ship your get the feeling your (hidden) character stats go down ... your avatar is exhausted ... your avatar is in need of some ingame sleep. You speed back to your little cabin, prepare your character for the sleep ... like you would do in real life ... and then ... admire those flawless motion captured animations each time you press the "change sleeping position" key. You character rolls to the other side of the bed, the physics of your quilt are awesome. The next implementation of the human needs system will allow to simulate this in zero-g too! You need to press this key every three minutes so you're not kicked due to inactivity. If you got some luck, you see some of those ship commercials as kind of a dream. After 30 minutes of ingame sleeping your character starts to snore. You are shocked. You need to solve this problem as soon as possible. The (hidden) stamina stats and the vital ones will be negatively affected by this. You need to visit the medbay after you wake up. Thinking about all this ... you start to smile ... about all those roleplaying folks in here ... trying to match their ingame clothes to the color of the eyes of their avatar to get better prices at the stores, or talking more than those 10 minutes per hour needed to their NPC crew to max out their loyality stats, or ... to build up some sort of relationship to them ... real funny people. ... but ... you need to get a gift for one of your turret gunners ... he's in a real bad mood, being like this he won't score hits and ... maybe he started drinking ... you heard some rumours ... shit ... he once told you what kind of stuff he likes ... you just forgot it. Next time you will write things like this down ... maybe there's an App for this ... ... oh, and your science officer ... his divorce proceeding is close ... you should talk to him for a while too ... and you forgot to comb your hair before you entered the spare part store ... next time you won't forget this, might save you some cash ... ... there must be an App for this, you gonna check this later ... Your two hours of sleep are over, but now you have to log out ... OK, the cargo run will be scheduled for your next session ... after you handled your snoring problem, talked to your science officer for a while and got a gift for your gunner ... oh, and your hangar needs some cleaning too. A quick visit to the website to buy some UEC for the port fee next time you log in and a quick glance on the production schedule ... the next patch is in burndown state ... one of the main blockers is the anti-cheat system which prevents those macros which simulate the pressing of the breathing key every two seconds ... you hate those cheaters ... ... thinking back about those times, long ago ... those endless and senseless discussions about irrelevant stuff like flight models and star systems ... and the dull face of a friend of yours asking some days ago about spaceflight and jump points in here ... ... you told him, you were real close to your first liftoff some month ago, but your navigator was feeling kinda ill, the daughter of one of your gunners caught a cold, your second gunner was still working on his claustrophobic problem in the turret, your mechanic was on maternity-leave and the rest of your crew couldn't find a compromise about the temperature in the ship ... guess he never played a real space simulation ... ... and you're so damned excited about testing this human needs system 2.0 ...
