You press the title, opening the message and are greeted with it's contents. A short recording of a thin faced gentleman, mid 30s wearing a leather racing jacket begins to autoplay. You watch intently. Greetings Noble Citizens, My name is Quentin "K4" Swift, I work for the "[IPS] Independent Professionals Society" as a Freelancer. I have recently stumbled upon a small job in regards to the introduction & testing of the RSI Mantis within the UEE Deputy Pilot Program (UEE-DPP). This July 2950 for the remaining 10 days, the UEE will be sponsoring Centurion & Imperator pilots. These pilots are to help patrol various sectors in Stanton using the supplied Mantis' for interdiction of various criminal activity. I have managed to secure a position and have been assigned my own Mantis for the remainder of the program. UEE law enforcement has gotten tied up with bigger criminal activities across Stanton and can no longer successfully handle patrolling the "hot" illicit trade routes. This is creating a security issue for law-abiding cargo haulers & entrepreneurs that remain under considerable harrasment and often incurring costly damages at the hands of these criminals. This is above and beyond the damaging social & psychological effects that these synthetic drugs have on UEE society. This must stop. We do not have any specifics on who is behind the complications however, that's where we come in! I am looking for some like minded individuals to assist in attempting to stop, search, insure proper documentation, as well as confiscate any illegal SLAM trading coming in and out of Jumptown's labs. I will be in need of a small crew, 3-5 individuals flying various support & combat craft to insure a successful operation. I have outfitted my supplied Mantis with aftermarket parts to assist with a quick & easy capture should it come to that. However should it get "messy" I will need experienced pilots with additional firepower & support to count on! Discussion on mission/team loadout composition will occur just prior to the start of the operation. For confidentiality each & every applicant will be contacted separately through their Mobiglass for a brief interview, fleet / loadout discussion, as well as an overview of the entire operation. Compensation / payment will also be discussed and distributed upon completion. Fines will be issued at 35% of the cost of the cargo for incomplete paperwork. Illegal / Illicit goods will be confiscated & destroyed, accused citizens will be sent to Klescher Rehabilitation Facility for judgement. Duty Calls. KIV out! OOC: Sorry the post is a bit late in regards to the Mantis being added for subs this month. Was waiting for 3.10 to show its ugly head before I decided on a post to make. Would like to try out some team gameplay while the Mantis is still available to test for subs. Really like the interdiction mechanic / idea and am aware that everything is still not working correctly. Thus the test! See if we can get a bit of a crew going with various loadouts & ships, see what works and what doesn't. All in character RP of course! Getting back into SC after a bit of a hiatus and am looking to create some stories within the Verse!
