It can be a hassle finding random/encounter RP in the verse unless it's coordinated and you are part of a Org, group or community. Scripted RP can be fun... but i live for the random encounters, see actors at their best... And test my own skills and abilities on the fly to make for Epic RP... Currently, The RP community as a whole is understandingly scattered as the game is being developed And most groups have their own location/time where/when they hang, Which is cool when you happen across them but extremely rare.. I know of the RP discords and websites but i feel like we should have a pinned post right here so new players can quickly and easily find out where to go and so players who are not into joining groups, orgs, discords or other forums can be in the know and find others.. Although things are currently buggy, stability is wonky and server cap is limiting...SC still has some of the best RP friendly in game mechanics, locations and so much more than most games for ultimate immersion and storytelling RP experience...Also the fact that we actually have an official RP sub-forum and CIG's focus on quality lore for us to follow, The RP support is real. That's why i suggest an endless voting poll pinned at the top of this sub forum where members of the community can vote/change their vote from a list of locations players can access in game. I say an endless poll with the ability to change your vote so players can choose a new location when community opinion shifts, That vote would change the results of the poll that would perhaps list the top 5 locations... designed in a way that mods have to do little to no work to maintain it other than adding new locations to the list as they are added to the game..and perhaps a reset of the poll every now and then for good measure. Or something like that, simple and effective. If you agree with the idea and and would like to see this happen, Share your opinion, bump to keep this post alive and perhaps the mods can help us out if enough people ask for it ^_^ It would be a great temporary way for RP'ers in LIVE to meet until the future reveals how RP will be handled by CIG, Hopefully RP matchmaking will be a thing.
