On Yuptu 34, a local farmer named Draspen Yomp'tu was working on his field out past Purple Ridge. While searching for a lost animal he walked over a ridge to discover a strange sight which he spoke of to an interview: "Sitting on the ground was a metal object that had wings like a bird, but it was the size of a great beast. The bottom of it was open, and a vehicle with six wheels was seen moving in front of it. There were also strange beings in white suits walking around. They seemed to be looking at rocks, and plants." Yom'ptu walked closer to the strange scene and apparently was spotted by one of the figures, which approached him. "The figure seemed to be staring at me through some kind of glass shield in front of his face when he suddenly smiled and raised his hand towards me." According to another ranch hand who had come over the ridge following behind Yom'ptu for some distance, Yomp'tu was apparently shot with some kind of energy weapon. Two other figures approached and took the farmer into their metal airship. What happened next defies explanation. "I was taken inside the metal airship and stripped naked. They examined me carefully. Then, a female with red hair grinned and walked closer, and then I can't remember anymore." Yomp'tu woke up laying in the middle of his field some time later. He was naked, his clothing folded neatly in a stack next to him. "I have had nightmares ever since then of strange things. I fear the beings with the airship will come back some day... especially the woman. I have vague memories of being left in the field and told I wasn't good enough for their needs." The other famers working that day have confirmed his story. Investigators were able to confirm from tracks that a very large object was present in the field. A strange brown pasty substance was also found next to a puddle of yellow liquid which was analyzed to be largely water with small levels of acid. What left them behind is still a mystery, though scientific analysis shows they are organic in nature.
