1. Motive? There is no logical motive for why the Frontier Fighters would attack their own system. It simply does not add up, even if the goal was to enrage people into fighting back. A false flag attack makes little sense in this context. Given the number of past attacks on Stanton, any one of those could have been enough to spark a response. Why fabricate an additional threat when real ones already exist? The Slicers are merely the latest in a long line of gang attacks, no different from Nine Tails or Xenothreat. And yet, according to the latest findings by the CFP and Advocacy, we are expected to believe that: "The Frontier Fighters dressed up like thugs and attacked the Stanton system so they could then attack Pyro because they are tired of Stanton being attacked by thugs?" That reasoning is absurd. At any point, the Frontier Fighters could have simply requested resources to mount an offensive against Pyro. There is no need for a fabricated gang attack when such incidents occur frequently enough on their own. I hope this sufficiently dispels the notion that the Frontier Fighters had a motive. If not, let us examine the messengers. 2. Citizens for Prosperity (CFP) On the surface, Citizens for Prosperity appears to be a humanitarian organization committed to aiding those in need. They advocate for finding good in all people and rejecting the notion that a few bad actors define an entire group. Settlers looking out for other settlers in an abandoned system, forgotten by rest of the Verse I don’t buy it. Are we really supposed to believe that a group operating within Pyro—a system plagued by lawlessness, gangs, and Xenothreat—is somehow managing to thrive purely through goodwill? That’s about as believable as a mega-corporation claiming to be "the good guys." No organization grows as large as they have without making some questionable moves along the way. Now, let’s talk about tangible evidence. At last year's IAE, the CFP had a desk set up, and on that desk was some rather interesting reading material... 3. Suspicious Pamphlets First Pamphlet STOP THE INVASION Beware Ships Under Alien Control Buying Alien makes them strong and us weak. When the next war comes, they will use their ships against us. Humans must stay united to survive. Second Pamphlet Citizens for Prosperity Extinguish Threats, Fight for Peace Are these really the "good guys" of Pyro? To me, this seems to echo the rhetoric of another faction… Xenothreat. 4. Xenothreat The space racists of the "Verse". A faction that believes in strengthening humanity at all costs, no matter the price. They will use any means to accomplish their goals—they are radical, and if you are not with them, then you are against them. I have long suspected that Xenothreat was receiving outside help, and I now believe that CFP serves as a front for that assistance. However, I think it goes even deeper. I suspect there are sympathizers within the military—or perhaps even the Senate. It's one thing for Xenothreat to acquire an Idris, but time and time again, they have managed to secure multiple Idris-class ships simultaneously. How is that possible? Another piece of evidence: visit any RAB (Remote Asteroid Base) controlled by Xenothreat, and you will find them equipped with UEE Navy-issued torso armor. If that doesn’t scream insider backing, I don’t know what does. 5. Conclusion So what really happened? I think the answer is obvious. The Slicers attacked the Stanton System. Then, a group—perhaps not the sharpest tools in the shed—became enraged after yet another faction from Pyro launched an assault. They decided to retaliate, launching a coordinated strike against Xenothreat and Pyro. Their efforts caused significant damage and disrupted Xenothreat’s operations, creating major problems for CFP/Xenothreat. To counter this, CFP/Xenothreat manufactured evidence implicating the Frontier Fighters, eliminating their biggest threat. That’s what really happened. 6. What I Think Really Happened In the dead of night on a day in November, Xenothreat operatives, disguised as what would later be called "Frontier Fighters," launched coordinated attacks on several facilities and cargo ships across the Stanton system. This provoked a response from the Civilian Defense Force (CDF), as the attackers had inflicted some of the worst damage the system had ever seen. Afterward, this same group went on to pose as the "Frontier Fighters," rallying anyone willing to fight against the gangs of Pyro. But what was their true motive? The answer is simple: Unity. Pyro had long lacked unity. The CFP/Xenothreat faction had been clashing with the Head Hunters for a while, but by uniting against a common enemy—a manufactured one—they gained exactly what they needed. It’s the classic tactic: when fighting "aliens" or an external threat, differences are set aside. But that wasn’t the only goal. This also earned CFP/Xenothreat recognition. Previously dismissed as a "lost cause," they suddenly appeared credible. To the Advocacy and the UEE government, they now seemed like a trusted ally—after all, they had played a pivotal role in eliminating one of Stanton’s biggest threats. I've laid out their motive, and I think it passes the smell test, but you can decide for yourself. Just know, that things are not always what they seem but to me this is what brought me here those Xs just look too close alike almost as if they were designed by the same person.
