So I awake to day to find myself in Levski. The random spawn bug hit us hard today. What I awoke to was massive chaos as alot of people were spawning in Levski. Without any ships there. To make matters worse, there was a band of pirates blockading the port so the few that did were getting shot down rather quickly. So while we were all scared and worried. food was running out. water was almost gone. Medical supplies were none existent. We started hunting the mines for Timothy Oh don't be like that, Timothy is mule..really..he is cough Anyway, a massive evacuation was underway from the good folks at Crusader in an attempt to break the blockade and rescue the refugees. Luckily I happened to run into a buddy who had a Herald in port. Fast that sucker is. We skimmed out way out with only a couple burn marks. On our way back to Port Olisar we discussed what we were going to do next. He mentioned earlier about a PI job, so suggested if he wanted to go solo he could just drop me off and I'd try to join in the recue efforts an Delamar. He decided to join me. Now, Im a really crappy pilot. Im even worse since I recently moved and don't have my sticks up yet, but I endeavored. So he took his SH and I got my Cuttie....both with no doors. OK, going well so far. He got his Buc while I expedited my cutty..again. taking off I showed off my excellent flying skills by flipping it right over on it's back sigh Anyway..I missed the jump so I had to play catch up. Then i got too close to Delamar and had to circle back around so I could jump to Levksi....all the while my wingman is shooting it up at Levksi clearing me a path. I mange to show up just as he gets wrecked, but he managed to clear up the LZ. The only hostile I saw was already engaged with another ship. I set her down hard at the lobby. Right on top of a pole. Did I mention my amazing flying skills? Anyway, so I get him on board and he mans the guns while I get off the deck and start circling around., trying to keep within the armistice zone and looking out for Kamikaze's. My wingman starts getting the refugees organized. After we get a couple responses I bring back down on the deck. A much better parking job this time. Lined up with door so they run right inside. I start hearing people inside and ask if we got everybody. he doesn't know, he's still in the turret, lmao. Ok, so i get up to check. Got two in the cabin. Go into back and see three more running for the ship. Get everyone onboard, he locks it up whole I get back to the cockpit. Get smooth takeoff (no, really, it was pretty smooth...I'm serious, it was! Stop laughing.) and start circling again, looking for hostiles while I get a lock on Crusader. trying to get this done before I leave the armistice zone so Im not doing it under fire. Ok, got that done and bee line for the marker. I see a couple hostiles just outside the zone in that direction. Derp! Of course. They've been here all day they know exactly what path everyone is going to take leaving. So i bank hard to Starboard and full burn straight up into the asteroid field. I can hear my wingman now gunner firing off a few rounds. Not sure if we're being tailed, or he's just having fun. Once he lets me know where clear I bank to port and jump cto Crusader. Im setting up the next jump to PO when starts firing off again. "Oh shit, someone followed us" I though and in the rush...tag a satallite. Derp! OK, we're off to PO this time. I let my gunner know to keep an eye out, there's been random pirate action around PO off and all day today, too. Lucky day, no one was around that i saw. Made a clean landing and got the refugees home safe and sound. The evacuation of Levski continues. Are you? Help the poor refugees of Levski, while there's still time! **I deliberate left out the wingman/gunners name not because I want all the glory (since He did all the work clearing a path) but because not sure if he wants to be mentioned. He can chime in and announce himself if he chooses.
