While revising the official communications and Lore publications I found little mistakes that create a lot of confusion regarding the correct date of the UNE foundation: According to official publications, the UNE was founded in 2380. ( https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/R4ZQpY83oO-united-nations-of-earth ) The Rethor System was discovered by two MIST PhD students in 2287 and they did not approached the governement about their discovery until or right after the foundation of the UNE. (Source: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/ojrncp8pkhhlur/source/JumpPoint_03-10_Oct-15_Ein-Praechtiges-Unterfangen.pdf ) These two references talk about a gap of 100 years which does not make ANY sense. Another example brought to me by Paul Shelley (AKA The Astro Pub) during our discussion was about the famous quote by Nick Croshaw: "We have become explorers again. We have resurrected mystery, discovery and adventure". He said this according to the official source in 2312 at the UNE Space Academy. (This seemed to have been posted on the 2949 CitizenCon website). It seems the UNE Foundation date of 2380 is a mistake, and likely this should have happened in 2280 maybe? or the events related to the discovery of Rethor are in the wrong dates?. I understand that timelines and dates can be very confusing and is a MASSIVE work of biblical proportions to get every detail right within such a big narrative. If any member of the Narrative Team could bring some light to this, it would be amazing. Specially while im in the middle of creating content for these subjects. Thank you guys! Love you all And if i am mistaken I apologise for wasting your time. UPDATE 10 August 2020: On Around The Verse (2018) https://youtu.be/V1mLGSWbbxs during the discovery of Caliban’s explanation. Information about coordinates of the Jump Point was handed to the UNE in 2341. So it seems UNE should have been formed in 2280 instead of 2380 as it says here? https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/spectrum-dispatch/12687-2380-Together-We-Rise
