As Mayor of Sheperd's Rest and a Researcher I had agreed to assist Avalon Initiative with their planned expedition to survey the Pyro system several months ago. Recently members from GrieferNet began to peacefully visit our Outpost and were notified that we would not discriminate against them if they chose to join us as long as they saught to help safeguard and grow our Outpost. This is the same agreement we offer everyone who visits as we are an open community. Sheperd's Rest does not have any official or unofficial ties, agreements, or open discussions with GrieferNet at this time. These folks were simply visiting the Outpost and had even remarked that they enjoyed our food having sampled our local produce. In response to their visit Avalon Initiative demanded we allow them to control our administrative processes and forbide GrieferNet as well as others they deemed undesirable from our Outpost.
