So I am awoken from my slumber to hear my cutlass careening towards the surface of Delamar. "I must get this thing under control." Yet, unfortunately, my efforts were futile. I found myself and my ship upside down on Delamar. Engines and throttle completely and utterly unresponsive. Would this be the end? Surely, I can't go out this way. Only one thing to do, put a broadcast out on comms and hope someone hears me. "Anyone out there." "Can someone help?" As luck would have it a fellow named Troper would save the day. But, little did we know, this was not going to be any ordinary search and rescue operation. I maintain what little power was left in the ship to keep it powered on just enough, for Troper to find me planetside. Alas, he arrives and I am rescued. "All aboard Captain." He asks " where to?" Since we're on Delamar, I suggest Levski. As we descend down into hangar 4 at Levski a sense of relief rushes over me. Yet another predicament someone has bailed me out of. Troper hollars up at me to wait for him at the elevator; and of course I oblige. He catches up and I call for the elevator. Yet the elevator never arrives. Despite repeated frantic attempts to call the elevator it was just as unresponsive as my crashed Cutlass. I look at Troper and suggest that we hop back in his ship and try a different hangar. As we ran back towards his cutlass, Levski ATC decided to put it in storage. Trapped in the depths of hangar 4. Despair and panic start to creep in. Neither of us knows how we will escape this place. The oxygen in our suits is almost depleted. Then, just like that the hangar bay overhead doors began to open. Like an angel from above a Hoplite lands on the pad. Troper and I stand there for what felt like an eternity waiting for the Pilot to open the rear hatch. We were saved. The pilot opens the rear door and runs right by us; as if he didn't even see us there. In our desperation we rushed inside the Hoplite. Only one thing to do. I hope that pilot has good insurance. Troper jumps into the pilot seat and fires up the engines. "Launch complete." Except, why aren't the hangar doors opening? "Did you contact ATC?" Troper replies, "Yes." Determined not to meet our doom in hangar 4 Troper guns the hoplites engines and we crash through the overhead hangar doors. We come blasting out of that hangar like a volcano erupting. Troper sets us down 100m from the outside entrance to Levski. "That poor guy is gonna be really mad when he can't find his Hoplite." Troper replied, "we did what we had to do." Finally, inside Levski. We both race for the bar to sit and have a drink. To reminisce and relive the story of how it all got flipped turned upside down.
