Character Customizer

Before you begin your journey, you can use this feature to adjust the look of your character. Tweak eye color, hair style, skin tone and more to create a unique in-game persona that represents YOU within the Star Citizen universe

This small, advanced hologram-projecting computer is worn by every character and allows you to manage your item inventory, plot a destination and check missions in the game.

Keyboard: Press F1 to open your mobiGlas homescreen. Selecting the icons along the bottom will take you to various applications such as the Contract Manager, Equipment Manager, and the Starmap. Press F1 again to close. To access the Settings, Options and Game Menu, press ESC.

Basic Controls

A great place to learn how your character moves is your personal hangar. You can head there through the Universe menu.

Keyboard: The WASD keys allow you to move around. Hold SHIFT to run and F to interact with items in the world. Press 1, 2 or 3 to ready a weapon from one of your inventory slots.

Mouse: Move to look around and use SCROLLWHEEL to change your base movement speed. LEFT-CLICK will fire your weapon, and RIGHT-CLICK will aim.

Star Marine

Put your newly honed combat skills to the test and fight your way to victory in this fast-paced FPS battleground that features zero-g combat arenas and a variety of high-tech armor and weaponry.

The Hangar

While visiting your personal hangar, you can view all your ships and adjust their loadouts using the LiveWorks AR system. Just look for a circular, blue port modification indicator and select it with a LEFT-CLICK to bring up a list of options. This system can also be used to place decorative items in your hangar.

What's to come Next Steps

In upcoming releases, you’ll get even more ways to make your character unique, as we continue to roll out the full complement of planned customization options, including gender and deeper choices for physical appearance. You’ll also see new clothing and armor sets released, alongside reworked versions of older designs.
