Personal Note: It was a blood bath. Bugs started pouring out of the walls. They were falling in from above and bubbling up from below. In an instant, everything turned black. Except for here, in the Roughnecks huddle. They were at the ready & cleared their area with blinding efficiency. Like a well-oiled machine they worked together grabbing the survivors, lifting them up out of the horde and grinding their way out.
Reaching the surface, we realized the ship was gone. They left us. There was almost nothing left of the Blackguards. The few remaining joined the Roughnecks in forming a circle around the campaigners while they waited for a drop. The surface of the planet was turning black. I broke off to clear the bug hole...its a long story, but eventually I ended up here, in the Stanton system.
