They say GingeyLion learned to fly the hard way. Not in clean lanes or simulators, but out where the stars go quiet and the Vanduul come screaming in. Years back, when the frontier was burning and nobody knew which systems would still be there tomorrow, he went out and came back. Not untouched. Just alive.
UEE training taught him how to fight and how to keep a ship together when everything’s falling apart. What it didn’t teach him was judgement. He learned that watching good pilots die and bad orders get people killed.
Authority sounds thin once you’ve heard real fear over open comms. So he took what he knew and headed for the kind of space where the rules blur.
They say he knows ships by sound alone. If it flies, limps, or barely holds together long enough to jump, he can get it home.
