Attended Formal flight training with the UEE Navy until the age of 25 and being kicked from the navy dishonorably for reckless flying and engaging in activities unbefitting an officer of the navy, He used his enlistment bonus and savings to start a small cargo business which rapidly developed into a moderately successful mining and cargo venture.
