I've been playing space sims since 1980, when I started playing EMPIRE and similar games on the PLATO system at the local college. I played Elite on a Commodore 128, and my first PC game was Wing Commander. I spent years playing EVE as an explorer and mercenary.
In over 30 years of playing space sims, I've never had a better time or experience than in Wing Commander or the other games from Chris Roberts and his incredible imagination. I'm looking forward to Star Citizen with more than just anticipation.
When I'm not flying a virtual spaceship, I'm an audiobook narrator and voice actor. :)
