Skuli joined the UEE navy after school where he learned to fly and got a taste for life among the stars. His time in the navy was fairly short as he quickly got bored with being stuck in the same role. In the years that followed, he would best be described by the old earth phrase, "a jack of all trades, master of none". The role fits well with his collection of ships that he has acquired. On 2945-10-05 his life took on a new purpose and direction with Vanduul invasion of the Vega System. A group of former navy pilots that he had met while operating for a short period as an independent cargo hauler for the navy contacted Skuli about joining a new organization named the Aremis Rangers that they were forming to provide aid and assistance to those in need within the Vega system. He joined the group and as time went on the group kept together and expanded their range to other fringe systems. Skuli continues to work within the group, filling in where needed with one of the ships he has collected.
