Not much is officially known about Lt. James "Java" Edmondson, formerly of the UEE Navy. Much of his story is redacted, for reasons unknown. There are rumors, however. Rumors of a Medivac Pilot who would spare no risk for a member of his unit. Where his crew ran with fierce loyalty, and unmatched skill. Rumors of an officer who took no mission before a fresh cup of coffee.
That's where the rumors run dark, because there ain't much coffee in the 'verse. Sure, there's cans of the fake crap, but rumors tell of a dark fate that befell anyone who brought that before Java. Some even say he killed a Starman for spilling a cup.
No longer serving, Java can be found in various corners of the 'verse. Some folks claim he still runs medivac sorties for those less fortunate. Others claim he can be found at Grim Hex, accompanied by his Aegis Eclipse. Regardless of the context, everyone agrees that "Java" Edmondson carries a code of honor that he still lives by to this day. Despite his dark dealings.
