(rp profile) Born on earth in 2923 John had a humble life until he enlisted at age eighteen. Through whatever tests they perform behind closed doors he was selected for the U.E.E. Marine Corps. He went through OCS, finishing with high marks before serving two tours. After his second tour he drummed out and reenlisted with the Navy as a commander, where he served until they promoted him to a desk job.
Unaccustomed to the politics that came with that star He quickly became disenchanted with much of what was going on in the U.E.E. Resigning his commission and taking with him his list of contacts and small reserve of credits he bought a ship and hit the fringes. Running cargo and doing some freelance work for the local bounty hunters, nothing much. Most of the work barely covers his expenses.
There is one perk, people don't bother him, he lives a simple life just getting by. Which is enough.
