Before joining the employ of Team Wang, Harley Atkinson was known for being a high ranking officer in the UEE Military Corps, however after betraying his fellow squadmates to pursue still unknown ulterior motives, costing the lives of all his former squadmates as well as several civilians, during a vital mission.
He soon became exiled from the UEE, which severly hurt his reputation on all fronts. However he soon found refuge among the mysterious merchant-contract group Team Wang. Although only a temporary employment at Team Wang he has been there since almost the very beginning, becoming one of Ashping's most loyal and vital employees.
