Choose Your Character - Veronica Vero

Veronica Vero is a wealthy heiress who inherited a small, profitable shipping company when her parents died in the Vanduul attack on Vega. The attack left her in charge of the business, but also turned her into a peace activist, claiming that war with the Vanduul is futile and we should be trying to live peacefully along side them, like the Banu. But there are unsubstantiated rumors that she is also the voice behind the notorious Vanduul sympathizer known as "Vanduul Veronica", who broadcasts anti-UEE propaganda on Spectrum. Vanduul Veronica makes many claims, such as blaming UEE "imperialism" for starting the Vanduul conflict by trying to settle worlds despite secretly knowing they were already claimed. She claims that Vanduul aggression is entirely justified and advocates abandoning all systems adjacent to Vanduul territory to appease them and create a buffer between them and the Empire.
