Drawing - Stormwal (space whale)

Drawn using Aseprite (pixel art) - WIP. Image scaled 300% for ease of viewing. Stormwal is approx. 100m long so I've drawn it slightly larger than the Perseus (which is 100m long). I'd assume they may be different sizes one day, and different types.

Since Earth based male whales attract their mates using song, I've opted for the male whale to keep it's fins from the original concept images by CIG, since it's unlikely Stormwals would use whale songs in space, but might in atmospheres which support it. V1 had translucent type skin with a silver and blue hue and areas for lighting, but it didn't match the recent Citizencon Stormwhal footage so I changed it in V2 (might try to get something in between when I start animating it). Will be aiming to animate the skin, fins and limbs.

Polaris and Perseus are two of my older drawings also posted on here, along with the Idris etc. Plan to update my Hammerhead, Javelin and finish working on others.
