Head and Eye Tracking in Under 10 minutes

Want a new Star citizen experiance?

This is for those that havent setup the Head and Eye tracking Software, If you have a camera i would definitely reccomend trying this out! Its really simple and easy to setup, If you end up having any issues, drop a comment and i will try my best to help out!!

Step by Step bellow:

Step 1 - Install OpenTrack This software is what Star Citizen will detect in order to run the tracking

Step 1.a - After installing OpenTrack be sure to change the INPUT to Beam EyeWare (the one with the beam eye tracker symbol)

Step 1.b - Select Options and be sure to set a Recenter keybind. (I have mine as /)

Step 2 - Install Beam Eye Tracker (you can get a 3hour free trial on Steam) Beam Eye tracker is what will use your camera and track your eyes for OpenTrack

Step 2.a - If the software doesnt grab your camera you will need to hit the setting gear in the top right.

Step 2.b - Configure your camera and after that you should be good to go

Step 2.c - Make sure you have Game Extension Turned on

Step 3 - Go to OpenTrack and click Start the little charachter on screen should move where ever you look and move your head Be sure to be looking at the center of your screen and press your recenter keybind

Step 4 - Launch Star Citizen and go Options

Click VOIP, FOIP, VR & Head Tracking Tab

Make sure you have TrackIr Selected for you tracking method
