DefenseCon is an annual spacecraft expo hosted by Drake Interplanetary. Created as a deliberate alternative “for the people,” it rejects ceremony and polished spectacle in favor of a raw, unfiltered manufacturer showcase grounded in Drake’s philosophy of independence, resilience, and defiance.

Following a 2956 shift into the wider event landscape, Drake CEO Anden Arden expanded DefenseCon to include manufacturers typically seen elsewhere, all while doubling down on the company’s outsider stance and refusal to play by conventional rules.

Relocated to ArcCorp Tower in Area18 and extended to a 10-day run, the event grew into a broader industry moment despite staying true to its nonconformist roots.
