This chart details the potential combinations of modular pods available for the MISC Endeavor when using the Endeavor Master Set that contains ten pods of nine types. Starjump Fleetviewer was used for the source images of the various Enveador models and their modular pods. Specific modular pod combinations are noted if they are available in a ship pack. Certain combinations of modules denote a specific sub-class of the Endeavor and are also noted. The three primary known sub-classes are the Endeavor Hope which is a mobile hospital featuring a medbay and hangar for receiving patients, the Endeavor Olympic that focuses on agriculture and farming using multiple biodomes, and the Endeavor Discovery which includes general science and research pods and increased crew accommodations. Other sub-classes in the original concept include the Endeavor Virtue that may include the Supercollider pod for component augmentation and overclocking, as well as potential names including the Endeavor Merit, Endeavor Precision, Endeavor Criterion and Endeavor Paradigm.
The potential combinations are based on the known information for the Endeavor, which as concepted has three pairs of modular hubs in the central Workshop Module for mounting different pods. Currently all pods are symmetrical and require at least two hubs on opposing sides of the ship to mount, so up to three modular pods can be equipped. The available pod space on the Endeavor is thus noted as a 2x3 configuraion, indicating three sets of hubs with two mounting points on each side of the hull. Pods are noted as being either in a 2x1 or 2x2 configuration, where 2x1 uses up one of the three available hub pairs and 2x2 uses up two of the three hub pairs. Thus only a single 2x2 pod can be mounted on the Endeavor due to size. Some 2x1 pods also have a restriction of one or two maximum pods on a single ship despite their smaller configuration and are also noted.
This chart assumes the finalized Endeavor will accommodate up to three multi-purpose pods that do not have limitations for mounting on the hull. As concepted some of the multi-purpose pods visually are too large to mount three on one ship despite having no known mounting limitations. The Endeavor is currently defined at 200 meters in length, which may change as the ship and pods are developed. This may take the form of the central Workship Module section increasing in length as well as standardizing the placement and distance between each hub so that the modules can be mounted in any position. It is also possible some of the combinations shown here will not work in the future if pods are assigned to specific hub mounting points, or if the size of certain pods remains a physical limitation on how many can be mounted.
The pod combinations in the initial version of this chart do not represent placement locations on the Endeavor hull and only denote the variations. It is possible each of these specific combinations can be mixed up in different sequences or locations on the hull that may offer certain advantages or simply be based on player preference. It is currently calculated that a single Endeavor Master Set offers 87 possible modular pod combinations including when no pods are mounted in the base configuration. If there are no placement restrictions for the pods, these 87 combinations potentially provide up to 411 variations in pod placement configuration. If additional Endeavor Master Sets are used or additional multi-purpose pods included, then up to 119 modular pod combinations are available in 499 different placement configurations.
