Operation Stormwhal's Flight

I decided that Ruin station needed a bit more cheer to bring it into the new year, and the stormwhals have decided it's time to migrate as well!

It all started with gathering up enough stormwhals to make the journey worthwhile, they were eager to see al the friends they'd make in Pyro!

I had gathered 5 pages worth of them...

Many stormwhals indeed.

Phase 1 had begun, I went through the tedious process of loading up the whals; once the goods were secured I loaded them up onto the ship.

I trust my copilots with my life. We had a quick entry into phase 2.

Took out ol' reliable this time, I wanted to make sure they would get there safely.

Here we are boys..it's the jump gate!

We made it through the Stanton side with minimal scrapes and bumps..

Alrighty! Halfway there boys!

Finally approaching the station, we had a few detours but one of these would come to save us in the end.

Landing in Union Station, Pyro

OH NO! Got out of my seat so violently I teleported into the copilot's chair (No stormwhals were hurt in this process)

Incapacitated...had to call upon a recently dropped-off friend of ours.

This phase of the operation was rocky, with the state of the server at the time we faced...technical difficulties, 2 lives lost, 2 vessels downed and 1 injured badly.

They had finally made it and rescued the stormwhals! I had to re-log once they were safe but we managed in the end.

It was finally time for phase 3 of the operation, deployment.

It was time to scatter, and scatter well, we had a lot of ground to cover.

Folks obviously wanted stormwhals for themselves but we managed decent coverage on multiple servers, it took time though.

..and a lot of scattering.

I even had some volunteers helping!
