Whatever happened to the Kilrathi?

Their homeworld destroyed and living in a galaxy dominated by greedy publishers the Kilrathi decided they had to leave, they built massive generational ships to traverse the vast distances between galaxies and set off on their way. Countless generations of Kilrathi lived and died aboard their giant ships and slight miscalculations in the radiation shielding caused their hair to fall out. Eventually these homeless hairless cats arrived at their new galaxy only to find it already inhabited by hairless apes! Desperate to find a new homeworld for their people and unable to communicate with the apes conflict was inevitable!
