The handle Shadowma originally came from Pilot Paul Leray as a new pilot he always hung so close to his wing leader he earned the nickname Shadowman. But as time progressed he became quite the pilot & could usually take out targets rather quickly. It got so that when enemy Vanduul or Pirates tried to call in a sit rep when he engaged them all their Kingship or home base heard was "it's Shadowma!...." & then radio static & then silence.
