The Riesenweber family hails from Old Earth, the capital of the United Empire of Earth as of 2945. The family's genetic and cultural lineage is strongly connected with the lands of Central and North-Western Europe; their history is characterised by distinguished service with the UEE's government. The family made its fortune from interstellar mining during the early days of interstellar colonisation in the 23rd Century.
"Riesenweber", the current heir of the family, was born in 2926 on Earth in the Sol System. This Riesenweber joined the UEE Navy as an Other Ranks Starman. Riesenweber participated in the Vanduul War and was later appointed as a Commissioned Officer and Aviator within the Navy; they were later discharged from the Navy and found employment as a Mercenary officer in a shadowy paramilitary organisation.
Riesenweber is a Civilian Defense Force volunteer, a ranking member of the Central Core Bank's "Chairman's Club", and a financial supporter of the Centralist Party.
