Bio
They call him Ledger, though few remember why.
He started as a convoy escort on the Hurston–Crusader lanes, until an ambush off Yela took his crew and the Advocacy closed the case within a week. He didn't. Fourteen months later, every name on his list was crossed out — and a reputation was born: there's a hunter out there who keeps accounts, and always settles them.
Some debts proved too big for one cockpit. So he built a fleet the Guild had never seen before. Now, when a warrant is too heavy for freelancers, the ticket goes to Ledger. The Javelin arrives first — most crews surrender at the sight of it. He's paid for capture, and corpses don't testify.
He believes in one thing: the balance. Someone takes something that isn't theirs, and the account is off until somebody corrects it.
Rumor says he keeps the actual ledger — paper and ink, every closed contract. One name has never been crossed out. Nine ships hit that convoy. He only ever confirmed eight.
