Name’s Victor Blackstar. Fought in the First Tevarin War for the so-called “right side.” Took orders, bled plenty. Then they told me to wipe out a civvie settlement—no trial, no questions. I said no. Got myself discharged and branded a disgrace. Suits me fine.
Wasn’t long ‘fore I figured the ‘verse still needs folks willing to do right, even when it ain’t clean or easy. So I pulled a junker outta the scrap heap, got her flying again, and started the Blackstar Initiative. We take jobs most won’t, help folks no one sees, and don’t ask too many questions—unless we need to.
My crew’s a pack of misfits, mercs, and people with nowhere left to go. But they’ve got grit, heart, and they don’t flinch when things get rough.
We ain’t lookin’ to be legends. Just trying to do some good, get paid, and sleep at night knowin’ we didn’t have to burn the world to do it.
