Born aboard an Endeavor to scientist parents, Ivan Kurushoi was raised with humanist values, a skeptical mind, and deep appreciation for nature. Driven by curiosity, he worked for a visiting Banu clan at low wages, eager to explore distant stars.

A specialist in Anvil Aerospace technology, he frequently tested prototype ships. But over time, he realized true peace came not just from force, but from exploration, knowledge, and diplomacy—a belief that would later lead him to form The Starbound Fellowship.
