Welcome to Alpha Team Space Command (ATSC)

ATSC is a military-inspired Star Citizen organization built around teamwork, professionalism, and having fun. Whether you enjoy combat, industry, logistics, exploration, or simply flying with a good group of people, ATSC provides a structured but relaxed environment where every member has a role.

As a bonus, we appreciate all those who decided to raise their hand and swear an oath to serve their nation. As such, all active duty/guard/reserve/military veterans will automatically be promoted to the rank of Captain.

Our goal is simple: Build one of the most respected and capable organizations for prior-military personnel in the ‘verse while maintaining a community where real life always comes first.

Do I have to be in the military?

No. While ATSC is inspired by real-world military organization and leadership principles, members from all backgrounds are welcome.

Is ATSC a MilSim organization?

No. We use military terminology and organization to stay coordinated, but our priority is enjoying Star Citizen together rather than strict roleplay.

Do I have to attend every event?

No. Participation is encouraged, but real life always takes priority.

What gameplay does ATSC support?

Everything.

Combat, bounty hunting, security, mining, salvage, cargo hauling, logistics, medical support, exploration, fleet operations, racing, and more.

Can I change roles?

Absolutely. Members are encouraged to experience multiple gameplay loops and participate wherever they enjoy contributing.

Organization Overview

ATSC is organized into specialized Wings, each focused on a different mission set while operating under a unified Headquarters command structure.

Our Story

Alpha Team Space Command traces its origins back to the early expansion into humanity’s colonies. Originally established as a military organization dedicated to maintaining peace and security beyond Earth, ATSC earned a reputation for professionalism, adaptability, and determination under the most difficult conditions.

As humanity evolved and the political landscape changed, ATSC was eventually decommissioned. Centuries later, increasing instability throughout the ‘verse created a renewed demand for disciplined organizations capable of protecting civilians, supporting commerce, and responding wherever conventional forces could not.

Reactivated in 2950, today’s ATSC operates as an independent military-inspired organization dedicated to protecting, uniting, and empowering humanity across known space.

Alpha Team Space Command (ATSC) is a military-inspired Private Military Company (PMC) built on the principle that strength comes from unity, but freedom remains the foundation of every Guardian.

Founded and led using real-world military experience, ATSC combines professional organization, strategic planning, and operational coordination with the freedom that makes Star Citizen unique. We are not here to tell members how to play. We exist to ensure that wherever your journey takes you, you never have to face the universe alone.

With over 500 members, ATSC has grown into an established force focused on security, freelancing, exploration, industry, and support operations. While Star Citizen’s ongoing development has shaped the pace of large-scale organizational gameplay, our vision has remained unchanged. As the Persistent Universe continues to evolve, ATSC is preparing for a renewed era of activity, operations, and expansion.

1. Preamble:

The ATSC Charter serves as the official operating framework for all Alpha Team Space Command personnel. This document establishes the principles, expectations, and organizational structure that allow ATSC to function as a professional, effective, and unified Private Military Company.

ATSC is built on a simple concept: individual freedom strengthened by collective capability. We are not here to tell members how to experience Star Citizen. We exist to provide the organization, resources, and support required for every Guardian to succeed.

As a military-inspired PMC, ATSC utilizes structured leadership, mission planning, and coordinated operations to achieve objectives while maintaining flexibility for every member. Real life always comes first, and participation is based on interest, availability, and mission needs.

All Guardians are expected to represent ATSC with professionalism and uphold the standards outlined within this Charter.

2. ATSC Strategic Pillars:

ATSC protects personnel, assets, and strategic interests throughout the universe. Whether conducting escort operations, combat missions, defense contracts, or emergency response, Guardians provide the security necessary for others to operate freely.

ATSC recognizes that victory requires more than combat power. Pilots, soldiers, traders, miners, salvagers, engineers, explorers, and support specialists all contribute to mission success.

EMPOWER

Empower citizens to pursue freedom among the stars.

Every Guardian has the freedom to choose their own path while benefiting from the strength, resources, and protection of a larger organization.

3. ATSC Core Values:

1) Integrity

Integrity is the foundation of trust. Guardians are expected to act with honesty, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions. Our reputation is built through the actions of every member.

2) Unity

ATSC succeeds because independent individuals work together toward shared objectives. We believe a coordinated team will always accomplish more than isolated individuals.

3) Excellence

ATSC continuously strives to improve our skills, operations, and capabilities. We encourage leadership, innovation, mentorship, and teamwork at every level.

4. General Rules:

1. Respect all members.

ATSC will not tolerate harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or behavior intended to create a hostile gaming environment. Members who violate this standard may be removed from ATSC to preserve the integrity of the community.

2. No griefing or malicious actions against ATSC members.

Competition and conflict are part of Star Citizen, but intentionally targeting fellow Guardians in bad faith undermines the purpose of the organization.

3. Maintain professionalism.

Members represent ATSC when interacting with the wider Star Citizen community. Your actions influence the reputation of every Guardian.

4. Real life comes first.

ATSC is a gaming organization built around enjoyment, teamwork, and community. Members will never be punished for prioritizing real-world responsibilities.

5. Operational Security (OPSEC):

Guardians are expected to protect sensitive ATSC information, operational plans, internal discussions, and strategic resources.

Sharing information with hostile organizations, intentionally damaging ATSC operations, or attempting to undermine the organization may result in removal from the PMC.

When discussing ATSC publicly, members are encouraged to represent the organization professionally and avoid unnecessary conflict.

6. Command Structure:

ATSC utilizes a command structure to maintain organization, not to restrict player freedom.

During normal gameplay, Guardians are free to pursue their own objectives, careers, and activities. During official ATSC operations, members who voluntarily participate are expected to follow the established mission leadership structure to maintain coordination and effectiveness.

Command exists to enable success, not micromanage individual players.

ATSC follows the principle of:

Centralized Control. Decentralized Execution.

Leadership provides objectives, resources, and coordination while allowing members the flexibility to execute missions effectively.

7. ATSC Protected Freelancer Concept:

Every Guardian is a protected freelancer.

This means you maintain complete control over your own gameplay experience while gaining access to the benefits of a larger organization.

You can:

  • Operate independently
  • Build personal wealth
  • Choose your profession
  • Own and manage your ships
  • Accept or decline ATSC operations
  • Request support when needed

ATSC exists to provide backup, not restrictions.

Fly alone when you want. Call the fleet when you need it.

8. Unit & Asset Policies:

Members may voluntarily contribute ships, vehicles, equipment, and resources to support ATSC operations.

Mission commanders will coordinate available assets to maximize operational effectiveness while respecting member ownership and contributions.

Every ship, vehicle, and resource represents the effort of a Guardian. ATSC will always prioritize responsible use of member-provided assets.

9. Major Commands (MAJCOMs):

MAJCOMs are strategic organizations within ATSC designed to specialize in different mission areas.

Each MAJCOM provides expertise, leadership, and coordination for specific capabilities such as:

Guardians may align themselves with the mission areas that interest them most. Members are encouraged to explore different gameplay paths and support multiple mission types.
