Blazing Saddles Security…BSS for short. If you have a need just ask…we can do our best to fill the need and if we can’t fill it; we just might happen to have contacts with someone that can do it for you.

“First things First; Wait what is First?”

History

The founder of Blazing Saddles Security (BSS) began his career by enlisting in the UEE Army in 2925, serving on border outposts before transferring to the UEE Navy in 2928. After graduating from the Naval Academy in 2932, he served as a pilot, operations officer, and ultimately an intelligence officer in the Naval Intelligence Bureau.

After almost 30 years of service, he grew frustrated with the UEE’s response to the Vanduul. Leveraging contacts made during his last three tours as a liaison to the Xi’An and Banu, he retired and became a private security consultant, realizing the potential in corporate espionage and intelligence. This led him to start Blazing Saddles Security and recruit former UEE Army and Navy colleagues.

BSS’s first major contract was providing intelligence support to the UEE Army outpost in the Vega system. During a Vanduul attack, a BSS pilot made a critical discovery: he boarded a damaged Vanduul Crawler and found Xi’An navigation systems wired into the controls. He successfully extracted Vanduul jump point locations for the Elysium, Leir, and Kabal systems.

This intelligence, which allowed the UEE Navy to stabilize the region, secured BSS a lucrative, long-term contract to provide electronic and human intelligence (HUMINT). This financial stability allowed BSS to recruit a skilled team of pilots and troops. Today, BSS has its main office on Earth (SOL system), with a secondary HQ in Stanton, and smaller outposts in the Pyro, Nyx, Castra, Terra, Idris, Elysium, and Centauri systems. There is a central intelligence and communications hub in the Ellis system that is staffed with some contracted signal operations specialists.

Manifesto

BSS will operate with integrity and within the rules of our Charter. We recognize the UEE laws but sometimes our job dictates that we may have to operate in the gray or black in order to acheive the terms of the contract. However when dealing with the UEE military or government we will follow the rule of law at all times.

If you need something found and secured or you desire security on your convoy or close personal security; really any type of job there is…then this is the group that will make sure you get what you need.

In order to find out more about our services please contact us through the message boards and we will be sure to get a representative in touch with you as soon as possible.

We are open for contract work with other organizations and intend to operate with the highest level of skill and ability at all times.

Otherwise…you just don’t know what may happen.

Charter

Rules of the group:
  • Don’t be an idiot. General rule of thumb is to not be stupid and get yourself in trouble alone. There are always exceptions but generally be smart and know your limitations.
  • Don’t be rude to our clients; this will not be tolerated. If you have to be curt, or generally short with your discussion, use of phrases and terms; do so without being rude.
  • IF you have a better idea than the one that is being talked about in the briefing or pre-op discussion; wait for an opening in the conversation and then speak up and let the person know. HOWEVER once the group rolls out…shut up and do your job. It is too late to make a change at that point.
  • Respect every client and treat them like they are family….you just might be protecting someone or something valuable.
  • IF you are found to be in violation of any basic rules of civility or general good conduct then you will have summary judgement which could involve punishment up to and including getting ejected from an airlock after being removed from the group.
