History

Our History and Lore

Founded on the planet Rytif in the Bremen system in 2559, GHI began with humble roots under the name Genoa Agrico, a modest supply company serving the planet’s rapidly expanding agricultural industry. As Rytif prospered, so too did Genoa. What began as agricultural support soon evolved into the construction of supply depots and the expansion of factory installations across the system. During this period, Genoa’s modular habitation and supply suites earned widespread recognition for their efficient design and rapid deployment capabilities.

The outbreak of the Second Tevarin War in 2603 marked a turning point for the company. Director Lynd Conroy recognized the conflict not as a threat, but as an opportunity. In a bold strategic move, 60% of company assets were restructured to pursue military supply station and habitation contracts within the Empire. The gamble paid off. Over the next three decades, Genoa steadily redirected its focus toward large-scale infrastructure and defense support operations.

Today, Genoa operates through multiple corporate divisions specializing in mining, salvaging, construction, transportation, and trade. Its flagship division, Genoa Heavy Industries (GHI), leads the organization and holds more than 40 major contracts across six systems.

GHI currently maintains a branch office in the Stanton system, headquartered in Alico Tower, Floors 67–80, in New Babbage, MicroTech, complete with dedicated rooftop landing access.
