Intergalactic Airlines (IGAIR) is a passenger transit, luxury touring, and freight shipping starline built around one idea: the journey matters as much as the destination. We bring people together through commercial flights and guided tours, move the goods that keep them connected, and protect the crews and passengers who trust us to get them there.

Our Origins

IGAIR traces its founding to 2460, when Phoenix Branson established the company during an era of growing interest in life beyond Earth. A descendant of Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson, Phoenix believed that space travel should offer more than a means of reaching a new world. It should give people the freedom to discover what lay beyond the familiar.

The name Intergalactic Airlines honors those early ambitions. Our red phoenix emblem represents the determination to rise, venture outward, and begin again. The company’s early years were difficult, but its crews kept flying and its leaders kept building. Over generations, IGAIR grew from that modest beginning into a starline serving travelers and businesses across the ’Verse.

As humanity expanded, IGAIR established its headquarters in Prime, Terra. The city’s position within a network of jump points made it a fitting home for a company dedicated to connecting people and markets. Prime remains central to our identity, alongside the places and communities that have shaped IGAIR’s history.

What We Do Today

Transit brings commercial flights and guided tours together under one service. Our flights are designed to connect passengers on short journeys within a system and, as routes allow, on longer journeys across multiple sectors. Our tours give guests a more personal way to experience the ’Verse, with attentive crews and the time to enjoy the journey.

Logistics handles trading and hauling for IGAIR’s own operations and for external clients. Its crews move cargo, coordinate deliveries, and help ensure that passengers, ships, and business partners have what they need where they need it.

Security protects those operations. Flight marshals and onboard personnel look after passengers and crews, while escort pilots and gunners help protect flights and convoys. Medical personnel serve within Security as part of that commitment to the people aboard our ships.

These are areas of service, not separate paths that limit our members. An IGAIR employee can build qualifications across them, take part in different kinds of operations, and choose where to specialize. Certifications establish what a member is qualified to do; experience and leadership can open the way to command and management roles.

The People Behind the Starline

Today, CEO Ewokinvaders and the Board of Directors guide IGAIR’s direction. Our goal is to run organized, enjoyable operations while giving members room to learn, contribute, and build a career within the organization. Whether someone joins to fly passengers, lead a tour, haul cargo, protect a convoy, or care for a crew, they are part of the same starline.

IGAIR also carries forward a commitment to humanitarian work. Through IGAIR Humanitarian Aid, we aim to use our people, ships, and experience to help communities in times of need.

The ’Verse is vast. Every flight, delivery, and shared journey gives us another way to bring it closer.

Intergalactic Airlines brings people together through passenger flights, guided tours, trading, and hauling. We are building an organization where members can enjoy the experience of running a starline while finding the kind of work they like to do.

We value respect, teamwork, and a welcoming community. Some members enjoy immersive roleplay; others prefer a more casual experience. Both are welcome. What matters is treating fellow members and guests well and contributing when you can. Real life comes first, and there is no required weekly time commitment.

Career Opportunities

There is no single path through IGAIR. You might begin by joining a flight crew, helping with a tour, moving cargo, or protecting an operation. As you learn, you can earn certifications that show which roles you are qualified to perform. You are free to build skills in one specialty or explore opportunities across Transit, Logistics, and Security.

Our ranks recognize experience and achievement. Members who want to take on more responsibility may help train others, coordinate jobs, lead larger operations, or pursue management roles. Established pilots and crews are welcome to bring their own ships and experience to IGAIR activities.

Operations

Transit is the passenger-facing side of IGAIR. Its crews plan and operate commercial flights and guided tours, welcome guests aboard, and help make each journey memorable.

Logistics keeps goods moving. Its members coordinate trading and hauling, support IGAIR’s internal needs, and carry cargo for external clients.

Security helps protect the people and assets involved in both. Its members serve aboard ships, provide flight escorts and turret crews, and deliver medical care during operations.

These areas work together on shared jobs. A tour, passenger flight, or cargo run may call on members with qualifications from more than one area.

Partner Program

IGAIR works with other organizations to create shared opportunities for travel, tours, freight, trade, and coordinated operations. Each organization keeps its own identity and leadership. We agree on the purpose and responsibilities of an activity together, then bring our crews together to carry it out.

Roleplay
While not RP exclusive, IGAIR is ideal for roleplaying members who seek immersion in the ‘Verse with in-character in-flight services and vacation events. We also offer additional incentives to members who engage in immersion enhancing behaviors, from naming, uniforms, speech, and so forth. Come immerse in the ‘Verse with the most realistic starline experience available! If you choose not to roleplay in-game, please respect those who do wish to roleplay, and vice-versa.

Lawful Organization
Intergalactic Airlines must conduct business through legal channels and cannot tarnish our reputation by conducting or endorsing criminal activity. The most important business asset is our reputation.
