Founding and Early Years — 2920–2930
Kyrakis Co. was founded in 2920 as a small commodity trading and exploration company based out of microTech. The original goal of the company was fairly simple: find resources, establish trade routes and move cargo between areas where there was money to be made.
Most of the company’s early fleet consisted of cargo and exploration vessels. A lot of the work took place away from the safer and more established trade routes, which meant crews often had to operate independently for long periods of time.
As the company grew, Kyrakis began investing more heavily in its own ships and crews rather than relying on contractors. This included dedicated logistics personnel, engineers and eventually armed security.
By the end of the decade, Kyrakis had established a reasonably capable commercial fleet and had begun expanding its operations beyond microTech.
Expansion — 2931–2940
During the 2930s, Kyrakis expanded its trading and exploration operations into more remote areas.
This brought considerably more risk.
Cargo vessels increasingly encountered piracy and other threats, particularly when operating outside heavily monitored space. Hiring outside security for every operation became expensive and unreliable, so Kyrakis began maintaining its own armed escorts.
At first, these ships existed purely to protect company assets. Fighters and escort vessels would accompany cargo ships, protect exploration crews and provide security around mining and recovery operations.
As the number of armed vessels increased, Kyrakis began organizing them into proper escort groups. Crews received more consistent training, command structures were introduced, and officers were assigned responsibility for coordinating multiple ships.
This was the beginning of Kyrakis’ move towards organized fleet operations, although the company was still primarily a commercial organisation at the time.
Growing Security Operations — 2941–2947
By the early 2940s, security had become a significant part of Kyrakis’ operations.
The company already had the ships and personnel required to protect its own convoys, so accepting security work for other groups was a fairly natural next step.
Kyrakis began taking contracts involving cargo escort, patrol work, protection of industrial operations and security for high-value assets.
The combat side of the fleet grew alongside this.
More dedicated military vessels were acquired, and Kyrakis started developing procedures for operating several ships together rather than treating each vessel as an independent unit.
The company’s commercial background also proved useful. Kyrakis already had experience moving fuel, equipment, cargo and personnel over long distances. As operations became larger, that logistics experience allowed the combat fleet to remain deployed for much longer periods.
By the middle of the decade, military and security work had become almost as important to Kyrakis as its original trading operations.
Transition Period — 2948–2952
Between 2948 and 2952, Kyrakis gradually began shifting its focus away from commodity trading.
There wasn’t a single event that caused the change. It was mostly the result of several years of the security side of the company becoming larger and more organized.
More members were joining specifically for combat roles rather than commercial work. Larger military ships were entering the fleet, and more time was being spent training crews for coordinated operations.
This also changed how Kyrakis approached its ships.
Rather than focusing heavily on individual pilots, the organisation began putting more emphasis on ship crews and fleet coordination. Engineers, gunners, medical personnel, fighter pilots, logistics crews and command staff all became increasingly important.
Capital and sub-capital ships also started becoming central to the way Kyrakis operated. Smaller ships were still important, but they increasingly operated in support of larger vessels rather than independently.
By 2952, Kyrakis was effectively operating as both a commercial company and a private military organisation.
Maintaining both identities eventually stopped making much sense.
Reorganisation — 2953–2955
In 2953, Kyrakis began formally restructuring itself as a Private Military Company.
Commodity trading was no longer considered the organisation’s primary purpose, although it was never completely abandoned. The existing commercial fleet instead became an important part of the new organisation’s logistics network.
Cargo vessels could transport ammunition, equipment and supplies.
Exploration ships could perform reconnaissance and scouting.
Industrial vessels could support longer deployments and resource operations.
The experience gained from decades of trading also meant Kyrakis already understood something that became increasingly important as the fleet grew: keeping a large group of ships supplied is just as important as having the ships themselves.
During this period, the organisation also expanded its command structure and began placing greater emphasis on training people for specific positions aboard larger vessels.
The objective was no longer simply to own capable ships. Kyrakis wanted to be able to properly crew and operate them.
Kyrakis Co. Today — 2956
Kyrakis Co. now operates primarily as a fleet-based Private Military Company.
The organisation focuses on capital ship operations, fleet combat, security contracts, escort duties, logistics and large-scale operations alongside allied organisations.
Capital ships form the centre of most major Kyrakis deployments, with fighters, escorts, transports and support vessels operating around them.
A major focus within the organisation is making sure those ships are actually crewed properly. A large warship is of limited use without engineers, gunners, pilots, medical personnel and command staff who know how to work together.
Because of this, Kyrakis continues to develop training and command structures intended to prepare members for different positions throughout the fleet.
The organisation’s commercial origins are still visible today, particularly in its approach to logistics and long-term deployments. While Kyrakis has moved a long way from the trading company founded in 2920, much of what was learned during those early years remains useful.
The purpose of the organisation has simply changed.
Kyrakis once built fleets to move and protect its cargo.
Today, it builds fleets to conduct operations.

Our Vision
To build a capable, organised and respected private military organisation centred around fleet operations and the people who make those operations possible.
Kyrakis Co. aims to bring together pilots, crew, engineers, marines, logisticians and commanders into a fleet that can operate effectively both independently and alongside our allies.
We believe that owning powerful ships means very little if we cannot crew, supply and coordinate them properly.

Discipline
Fleet operations depend on people being able to rely on each other.
Members are expected to understand their responsibilities, follow the chain of command during operations and carry out their assigned roles to the best of their ability.
Discipline does not mean unnecessary formality. It means knowing when people are relying on you and being there when it matters.
Teamwork
No single person operates a capital ship.
Every successful deployment depends on dozens of different roles working together. The bridge needs engineering. Engineering needs logistics. Fighters need their carriers. Marines need transport and support.
Every role contributes to the fleet.
Professionalism
Kyrakis represents itself through the actions of its members.
We expect members to conduct themselves appropriately when dealing with other organisations, allies and players throughout the ‘verse.
Competition and combat are part of what we do, but they are never an excuse for poor behaviour.
Capability
Ranks and titles mean little without the ability to perform the role behind them.
Kyrakis encourages members to learn, train and gain experience across the organisation. Leadership positions should be held by people willing to take responsibility for both their crew and their decisions.
Reliability
A fleet depends on its people.
Members should be able to rely on their crew, officers and commanders just as those people rely on them.
When we commit to an operation, contract or coalition, we make every reasonable effort to fulfil that commitment.
Initiative
Orders cannot account for every situation.
Members are encouraged to think, adapt and make sensible decisions when circumstances change. Good crews understand the objective of an operation, not simply the instructions they were given at the beginning.
Our Fleet
Capital ships are at the centre of Kyrakis Co., but they do not define the organisation on their own.
A capital ship without a crew is just another ship sitting in a hangar.
Our fleet exists because of the people aboard it.
Commanders coordinate the operation. Pilots and gunners defend the fleet. Engineers keep our ships running. Marines secure objectives. Medical personnel keep crews alive. Logistics teams provide the fuel, ammunition, equipment and supplies that allow everyone else to continue operating.
Every ship has a purpose, and every crew member has a place within that purpose.
Our goal is not simply to possess the largest fleet.
Our goal is to be able to use it.
Our Commitment
Kyrakis Co. began as a trading and exploration company. While our purpose has changed considerably since 2920, many of the lessons learned during those years remain part of how we operate.
We understand logistics.
We understand long deployments.
We understand that ships cannot operate without support.
Most importantly, we understand that a fleet is built around its crews.
Today, Kyrakis applies that experience to security, combat, fleet operations and cooperation with our allies.
We will continue developing our crews, expanding our capabilities and preparing for larger operations as the organisation grows.
We do not expect every member to be an ace pilot or experienced commander.
We expect them to be willing to learn, work with their crew and contribute when the fleet needs them.
That is what Kyrakis is built around.

Charter
Article I: Name, Purpose and Identity
Section 1: Name
The name of this organisation shall be Kyrakis Co., hereinafter referred to as “Kyrakis,” “Kyrakis Co.,” or “the Organisation.”
Section 2: Purpose
Kyrakis Co. is a fleet-focused private military organisation specialising in capital ship operations, security, combat, logistics, escort duties, and large-scale cooperative operations.
Our goal is to provide a place where members can experience the larger-scale side of Star Citizen, particularly multicrew and capital ship gameplay, without turning the game into a second job.
Kyrakis may operate independently or alongside allied organisations and coalition fleets.
Section 3: Fun Comes First
Kyrakis Co. is, first and foremost, a community built to have fun.
Our ranks, command structure, training, and fleet procedures exist to help us organise large groups of people and make our operations more enjoyable. They are not intended to create an unnecessarily strict military environment outside of organised activities.
Members are not expected to treat Kyrakis as a job, and real life will always take priority over Organisation activities.
There are no expectations for members to maintain constant attendance or dedicate all of their time in Star Citizen to Kyrakis.
During normal gameplay, members are encouraged to relax, socialise, play together, and enjoy the game however they wish.
Section 4: Serious When Required
While Kyrakis is a casual and social organisation at its core, we are capable of becoming organised and serious when an operation requires it.
During major fleet operations, training exercises, coalition events, or combat situations, members may be expected to follow an established chain of command, remain at their assigned stations, and maintain clear communications.
This seriousness exists for the duration of the operation and is intended to make large-scale gameplay possible, particularly aboard multicrew and capital vessels.
When the operation ends, so does the formality.
We aim to find a balance between having fun and operating effectively.
Members should be able to joke around one night and crew a properly organised capital fleet the next.
Neither side of Kyrakis should come at the expense of the other.
Section 5: Our Philosophy
Kyrakis does not measure its success by how strictly it can imitate a real military.
We measure it by whether our members enjoy being here, whether people want to come back for the next operation, and whether we can work together effectively when it matters.
Ranks represent responsibility, not personal importance.
Training exists to help members, not create barriers.
Command exists to coordinate the fleet, not control how members spend their free time.
At the end of the day, Star Citizen is a game, and Kyrakis Co. exists because we enjoy playing it together.
When the fleet forms up, however, we are prepared to take the operation seriously and give it everything we’ve got.
