THE LEGION: ARTICLES OF SOVEREIGNTY

I. THE SUPREMACY OF THE BANNER
The LEGION acknowledges no law, mandate, or authority outside of its own command. We exist as a sovereign military power, answerable only to the Legatus and the internal code of the phalanx. We do not negotiate our right to operate in the Verse; we enforce it. The “laws of men” stop where our hulls begin.

II. UNITY AS STRENGTH
We are the Indivisa. Within the LEGION, the chaos of the individual is replaced by the precision of the unit. We move as a single, coordinated machine, ensuring that every strike is lethal and every defense is absolute. To stand against one Legionnaire is to provoke the full weight of the Banner.

III. TOTAL LOGISTICAL INDEPENDENCE
A force that relies on external infrastructure is a force in chains. The LEGION maintains its autonomy through total industrial self-sufficiency. We strip the belts and salvage the wrecks of the stars to fuel our own engine of war. Our wealth is not granted—it is seized, refined, and held by the strength of our own hands.

IV. THE CODE OF THE UNDIVIDED
Loyalty to the LEGION is the singular requirement for membership. In return, the Legion provides a sanctuary of order and an unbreakable brotherhood. We protect our own with absolute ferocity. Within our borders, we are a nation of soldiers. Beyond them, we are a shadow that the Verse has yet to learn to fear.

THE SOVEREIGN CHARTER OF THE LEGION

I. THE CHAIN OF COMMAND
The LEGION is an unbreakable phalanx. We do not answer to the laws of men, but we adhere strictly to our own.

High Command (Legatus, Primus, Praefectus): The architects of our sovereignty. They dictate grand strategy, manage the Tributary, and hold final authority over all operations.

Field Command (Centurion, Optio): The tactical backbone. They translate the Will of the Banner into action, leading the fleet in both acquisition and defense.

The Elite & Specialists (Aquilifer, Immunes): The masters of their craft. Whether bearing the standard in the heat of battle or extracting high-value resources, they are the specialized edge of our force.

The Line (Munifex, Discens): The foundation. No member stands alone. Through the discipline of the Munifex and the testing of the Discens, the LEGION remains eternal.

II. DOCTRINE OF ABSOLUTE SOVEREIGNTY
We are a breakaway power. We do not recognize the jurisdiction of the UEE, corporate syndicates, or any external governing body.

The Border of the Hull: The moment a pilot enters a LEGION vessel, they are subject only to the laws of the Banner.

Non-Negotiation: We do not seek permits to harvest, nor do we pay “taxes” to dying empires. We take what is required for our sustainment and defend what is ours with lethal force.

III. THE TRIBUTARY (LOGISTICS & ACQUISITION)
Our military strength is fueled by our industrial dominance.

Self-Sustainment: Every resource extracted, refined, or requisitioned is a strike against the dependency of the old world. We fuel our own ships and forge our own destiny.

Strategic Requisition: The LEGION does not engage in petty crime. We engage in the strategic acquisition of assets—ships, cargo, and territory—necessary for the advancement of our sovereign state.

IV. THE INDIVISA PROTOCOL
Internal unity is our highest law. To fracture the LEGION is to invite extinction.

The Phalanx Mindset: We move as one. An attack on a Discens is an attack on the Legatus. We do not leave our own to the mercy of the Verse.

Internal Resolution: Disputes are settled by the chain of command. We do not look to external “authorities” to solve our problems.

The Sovereign Oath: Loyalty to the LEGION supersedes all previous oaths, citizenships, or corporate ties.
