LEGION DISCORD
Founded January 18th, 2026 by ATemplar.
This org was founded to provide a consistent home for active players looking for an active community for star citizen.
I. The Core Principle
The verse is vast, indifferent, and often cruel. To the lone pilot, it is a graveyard of ambition. But where the individual falters, the LEGION endures. We believe that true sovereignty is not found in isolation, but in the unbreakable bonds of a shared banner. We are a collective of freelancers, pioneers, and protectors who recognize a fundamental truth: Our greatest resource is each other.
II. The Mandate of Prosperity
LEGION is built upon the pillars of industry and enterprise. Whether we are stripping asteroid belts of their riches, hauling vital supplies across treacherous jump points, or salvaging the husks of fallen giants, we do so with a singular focus. We do not just harvest resources; we secure the future. By furthering the LEGION, every member ensures their own ascent.
III. The Shield
A freelancer without a fleet is a target. A worker without a guard is a victim. Within LEGION, no member stands alone. Our security is the iron wall that protects our industrial heart. When we don’t seek conflict, we are prepared for it—knowing that when we fly as one, victory is not an aspiration, but an inevitability.
IV. The Code
V. The Proclamation
We invite those tired of the aimless drift to find purpose. We invite the industrious to find scale. We invite the brave to find a cause. Under this banner, we turn chaos into order and effort into empire.
Ubi Concordia, Ibi Victoria. Where there is Unity, there is Victory.
Motto: Ubi Concordia, Ibi Victoria
Affiliation: Freelance / Industrial / Security
ARTICLE I: MEMBERSHIP & CONDUCT
The Sovereignty of the Legion: Every member enters LEGION as a freelancer. While we fly under one banner, the LEGION respects the individual skill of its members.
The Code of Concord: Discord within the ranks is the only true threat to our success. Members shall treat one another with professional respect. Disputes are to be settled by a Centurion or through the established chain of command.
Representation: When flying under the LEGION tag, members represent the collective. Actions that bring dishonor or unnecessary heat from the UEE or major factions are subject to review by the Legate.
ARTICLE II: THE RESOURCE TRIBUTARY
The Collective Gain: To ensure the growth of the LEGION, all extra resources shall be allocated to the Org Bank for the acquisition of capital ships, station leases, and refueling costs.
Individual Prosperity: Outside of official “Banner Ops,” members are encouraged to pursue their own freelance contracts. The LEGION provides the network; you provide the results.
Resource Priority: Members of LEGION shall give preferential trade rates and assistance to fellow brothers and sisters of the banner before seeking outside markets.
ARTICLE III: THE SECURITY MANDATE
The Requisition Right: LEGION recognizes no claim to resources other than the strength to hold them. If an entity occupies a lucrative sector or carries high-value cargo without the means to defend it, that cargo is considered “found property” and is to be secured for the Banner.
Calculated Aggression: We are not agents of mindless chaos; we are a syndicate of profit. Violence is a tool, not a hobby. Aggression is to be directed where it yields the highest return in resources, ships, or tactical leverage.
The Tithe or the Torch: Entities operating within LEGION-controlled space are subject to the Tithe. Those who pay gain our protection; those who refuse are treated as salvage.
Absolute Retaliation: Any strike against a LEGION asset—be it a lone prospector or a bulk freighter—shall be met with overwhelming force. We do not negotiate with those who draw blood; we erase them.
ARTICLE IV: ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
1. THE HIGH COMMAND (THE STRATEGIC CORE)
Legatus Legionis10: The supreme authority of the LEGION. The Legatus holds final say on all diplomatic treaties, declaration of “Red Zones” for requisition, and high-level asset allocation.
Primus Pilus9: The “First Spear” and senior tactical advisor. Responsible for the combat readiness of the fleet and leading high-priority boarding actions or capital ship engagements.
Tribunus Laticlavius8: The master of the Tributary. This office oversees the flow of resources, ensures the “Piracy Tithe” is collected, and manages the organization’s wealth and market influence.
Praefectus Castrorum7: The Quartermaster General. Responsible for the maintenance of LEGION outposts, carriers, and the logistical backbone that keeps the war machine fueled.
2. THE OFFICERS OF THE BANNER (FIELD LEADERSHIP)
Centurions6: The primary field commanders. Centurions are granted the authority to lead Wings and have the autonomy to initiate requisition operations that align with LEGION interests.
Optio5: The designated second-in-command. An Optio ensures the Centurion’s directives are executed with precision and maintains discipline within the squad or crew during high-pressure operations.
3. THE SPECIALISTS & THE LINE (THE OPERATIONAL STRENGTH)
Aquilifer4: The Vanguard. A prestigious rank awarded to those who lead the formation or carry the LEGION’S reputation into the most dangerous sectors.
Immunes3: Technical specialists. These members have mastery in high-value fields such as engineering, quantum interdiction, mining, or advanced salvage, or general game knowledge.
Munifex2: The backbone of the LEGION. Proven freelancers who have earned their place under the banner. They are the primary force behind our operations.
Discens1: The Initiates. Recruits currently undergoing evaluation and training in LEGION’s aggressive freelance doctrines. They must prove their loyalty and skill to ascend to the rank of Munifex.
ARTICLE V: AMENDMENTS
Evolution: As the verse changes, so must the LEGION. This charter may be amended by the Legate in consultation with the Centurions to ensure our continued dominance and survival.
