Led by the ruthless Obsidian, this syndicate is a powerhouse of trade and terror. They move the galaxy’s most vital cargo with surgical precision. To The Obsidian Order, commerce is war: follow the contract and prosper; interfere with the flow, and they will balance the ledger in blood.
The Obsidian Order Syndicate didn’t start in a boardroom or a throne room; it began in the soot-stained belly of the Blackrock Spire, a massive industrial hub that collapsed during the Great Devaluation. Amidst the chaos, a nameless dockworker—now known only as Obsidian—organized a small crew of freight-haulers to protect their shipments from starving scavengers. He realized that in a world without law, the person who controls the flow of goods controls the people. He goes by the name “Obsidian” to represent both a valuable commodity and a lethal edge.
1. The Cargo is Sacred: A contract is never broken.
2. The Price is Fixed: No haggling, no bribes.
3. The Response is Final: If a shipment is intercepted, the Syndicate doesn’t just recover the goods; they dismantle the interceptors’ entire organization to ensure it never happens again.
I. The Command Structure (The Core)
The Syndicate is led by Obsidian. His word is the “Final Entry.” Below him sit the Five Auditors, each overseeing a sector of trade (Arms, Bio-Tech, Raw Minerals, Information, and Logistics).
II. The Covenant of the Haul
Once a contract is stamped with the Obsidian Seal, it becomes a “Sacred Debt.” A member who loses cargo through negligence is stripped of rank; a member who steals cargo is “liquidated” to recoup the loss.
III. The Rights of Retribution
The Charter grants every Captain the “Right of Total War” if a shipment is fired upon. They are authorized to divert all local Syndicate resources to eliminate the threat, regardless of the collateral damage to local economies.
IV. The Tithe of the Void
Ten percent of all profits are diverted to the “Void Fund”—a massive war chest used exclusively for bribes, hush money, and the hiring of elite mercenaries for “market corrections.”
V. The Exit Clause
There is no resignation from the Obsidian Order. One leaves only through retirement (granted after 30 years of flawless service) or through the “Final Audit” (death).
