The Sol system is a planetary system in the United Empire of Earth (UEE) that consists of a G-type main sequence star, one mesoplanet, three terrestrial planets, two gas giants, two ice giants, a dwarf planet, an asteroid belt, and many other celestial bodies. The original home system of Humans, it is the center of the UEE's government and is where the Imperator and the chambers of the Senate are located. Two of its planets are fully colonized, alongside multiple moons. The third planet from its sun, Earth (Sol III) is both the Human homeworld and the current capital of the UEE.
