The Kins belt beta is the second asteroid belt in the Kins system, Banu Protectorate. The outermost point in the system, it has traditionally been used as a convenient location to dump unfixable equipment and other types of large waste by spacecraft passing in and out of nearby jump points. It is frequented by Salvage Soulis who make a living off processing this waste.
