The Hurricane is a strike fighter manufactured by Anvil Aerospace. Originally launched in SEY 2607 by the now defunct Casse Aerospace, the Hurricane is a turret fighter, combining the speed and maneuverability of an interceptor with a single manual turret operated by a second crew member. The first model of the Hurricane was used by the United Empire of Earth Navy (UEEN) during the Second Tevarin War where it saw limited combat. In 2871, the UEEN requested that Anvil Aerospace update the design for service against the Vanduul. New models were deployed in 2878.
