117th Tactical Battlegroup is a fellowship of like minded individuals who have come together for the greater good of the verse manning larger vessels in larger combat wing. The main goal of the battlegroup is to pose a large projection of force in an area to deter threats such as piracy and Vandals.
History
After the collapse of the UEE navy in the Pyro system a collective of individuals hurt by the disbanding of the protection had enough of the piracy that awakened in the turmoil. They formed there own personal protection force to deal with the increasing pirate activity and push back and help establish fair uninterrupted trade to small parts of the system. 117th have been recently been seen pushing further out into other systems to gather new recruits and funds doing protection contracts given by bigger corporations to fund their increasing presence in the verse
Manifesto
117th Tactical Battlegroups aim is to have multiple multicrew combat ships manned and with the a well trained contingent of engineers, pilots, and gunners and have a dedicated support wing of Haulers, boarding crews and medical staff. To deal with any threat to the civilians of the verse or who ever is willing to pay for the full complement of ships that 117th will command.

- Main goal of the battlegroup is promote security and prosperity to parts of the galaxy where the people have been left to themselves and chaos reigns free
- The 117th will not partake in nefarious activity that effect the regular day to day of civilians and would draw the attention of larger corporations or governments
- Members of the 117th will show a willingness to learn and adapt to any situation they may encounter
- Members will show true determination and grit and will strive for victory in all aspects of furthering the goals and freedom of the people of the galaxy that have been left to fend for themselves
