The City belongs to the Emperor. The Stars belong to the Sons.

The UEE wants you to be a number in a ledger. The Corporations want you to be a cog in a machine.
At The 16 Sons of Remus, we don’t care about your citizenship status or your credit balance.

We care about your Loyalty.

History

The Origin: The “Remus” Incident

In 2920, during the terraforming of Mars, a massive atmospheric stabilizer failed. While the UEE Navy evacuated the “High-Value” personnel, a group of 16 transport pilots stayed behind. They used their small, maneuverable ships and Drake Dragonflies to ferry thousands of workers out of the collapse zones that the larger evacuation dropships couldn’t reach.

The lead pilot was an old freelancer named Remus. He was the last one out, his ship’s hull glowing cherry red from the heat. When they landed at the orbital station, the 16 pilots realized they had more in common with each other than the corporations they worked for.

Manifesto

The Declaration of the Star-Forged Brotherhood

I. WE ARE THE SCARED SONS
History remembers the founders, the emperors, and the conquerors. It remembers Romulus because he built a city of stone and ego. We represent Remus: the one who was cast out, the one who saw the horizon and realized that a wall is just a cage with a better view. We do not seek to rule the Verse; we seek to survive it on our own terms.

II. THE SOVEREIGNTY OF THE SUIT
Our loyalty does not belong to a throne on Earth or a boardroom on MicroTech. Our loyalty is to the person flying on our wing and the suit that keeps the vacuum at bay. We recognize no law that demands we abandon a brother or sister in the black. If the UEE calls for a retreat, but a civilian is screaming for help, we stay. The mission ends when the last soul is safe.

III. THE POWER OF THE PACK
A single pilot is a target. A pack is a force of nature. We believe in the strength of the Sixteen. We maintain an elite inner circle not to exclude, but to ensure that our foundation is built on the highest caliber of grit, skill, and sacrifice. To wear the Gold is to carry the weight of fifteen others.

IV. THE FREEDOM OF THE FRONTIER
We claim the “In-Between.” We are the masters of the jump points, the asteroid belts, and the moons that the Empire forgot. We do not build cities; we build legends.

V. THE TITHE OF BLOOD AND CHROME
We do not work for greed, but we do not fly for free. We take our due in salvage, fuel, and respect. A portion of every haul goes back to the Den, because a Son is never truly “broke” as long as the club has a spare thruster and a tank of hydrogen.

VI. THE FINAL WORD
Let the UEE have their medals. Let the Pirates have their infamy. We have the silence of the stars and the roar of the engines. We are the 16 Sons of Remus, and we will never be left behind.

“The City belongs to the Emperor. The Stars belong to the Sons.”

Charter

The Charter of the 16

The Blood & The Vacuum

The First Seat is Final: In the black of space, there is no time for a committee. In combat or crisis, the word of the Acting leader is law.
Leave No Hull Behind: No Son of Remus shall be left in the void. Whether they are in a MedBed or a body bag, we bring our brothers home.
The Prospect’s Debt: A Full Patch member is responsible for the actions of their sponsored Prospect. If the Prospect betrays the club, the Sponsor bleeds.
Blood Over Credits: No contract, bounty, or UEC payout is worth more than the life of a brother.

The Code of the Road (The Flight Path)

The Neutral Horizon: We do not fly for the UEE, and we do not fly for the Pirates. We fly for the 16. Our loyalty is to the flight suit, not the flag.
The Beacon Oath: Every Son must respond to a non-hostile distress beacon. We were born from a rescue; we live to pay it back.
Silence is Survival: What is spoken in the Den stays in the Den. Information is the only currency more valuable than fuel.
The Toll of the Gate: Any member who earns a profit must tithe 10% to the “Remus Reserve” for ship repairs and bail for incarcerated brothers.

The Honor of the Wolf

Never Fire First, Always Fire Last: We are not aggressors, but we are finishers. If a Son is painted by a hostile radar, the entire Pack responds.
The Parley Protocol: If a pilot ejects, the fight is over. We do not shoot pilots in EVA. We are bikers, not butchers.
Respect the Tech: A Son’s ship or bike is an extension of their soul. Sabotaging a brother’s vessel is grounds for immediate exile.
The Open Hangar: Any Son in any system may claim sanctuary in another Son’s hangar. Fuel, ammo, and a bunk are provided without question.

The Succession & The Void

The Empty Chair: A Seat can only be filled if it is vacant. We do not depose; we inherit.
The Trial by Fire: No man or woman sits in the 16 without completing the Three Trials. There are no shortcuts to the Chrome.
The Right of Challenge: If a member believes a Seat-holder has betrayed the Charter, they may call for a “Void Duel”—a non-lethal dogfight to first-shield-drop.
The Final Jump: When a Son’s time is done, their bike is stripped of its power plant and set adrift toward the nearest star. They began in the light; they end in the light.

The Club Salute

When passing another Son in the Verse, it is customary to flash your landing lights three times and perform a “Barrel Roll” or a “Quick Decel” to show your wings.
“Romulus built the walls. We own the horizon.”
