So far we are formed because the UEE has failed to stop the abuse of the system they defend and not everyone fits the mold of the corps that are in charge. The Freelancers of the Black formed during the Regen Crisis when death became permanent again. assassin208 began taking high-risk contracts no one else would, attracting like-minded operators. Over time, this evolved into a decentralized network built on one principle: operate as if you only have one life—because now, you do.
