3CO is a new corporate consortium participant in the exploration, development, and maturing of the SC Universe. 3CO is headquartered at Cosmos Center Oceana, on Cassell – Goss II, Goss System.

Cosmos Corporate Consortium currently consists of Consortium Partner Organizations. Consortium Partners subsidiary companies/groups are also included as part of their overall membership in the consortium.

The overarching Consortium agreement and rules will be composed by member organizations. Such agreement will layout & govern all aspects of consortium activity, member rules and benefits, limitations of the consortium to either bind or legally represent its’ membership. Each Partner Member shall appoint 1 person to the Consortium Steering Committee…the consortium’s governing body.

Consortium Partner Members are still independent organizations, controlled by their own internal governance. The consortium has no direct control of, nor responsibility for, our Partner Members – as they are independent entities in the Star Citizen game universe. Issues with specific Partner Members, both ingame and real-world, must be resolved by the Steering Committee, via Roberts Space Industries and their CIG group (game developers). The consortium bears no responsibility for any crime, misdeeds, or other improprieties of Partner Member Organizations.

Cosmos Corporate Consortium, its’ Consortium Partners, subsidiary companies, adjunct research and specialty groups, will maintain ethical standards and conduct. Subsidiary companies and our adjunct organizations will adhere to 3CO policies and procedures as set forth in our current group history, manifesto, and charter. Consortium partner organizations are expected to have similar principles and values as 3CO.

HISTORY:

Cosmos Corporate Consortium (3CO) was created to solve the problems of small to intermediate-sized organizations within the Star Citizen Universe (SCU). The vast majority of Star Citizen orgs are either individuals or small-sized organizations of less than 20 persons. These groups will be at a decided disadvantage relative to large organizations when it comes to building asset bases, earning incomes, competing for service contracts to assist other organizations in the ‘verse’.

By forming a cooperative consortium of organizations, 3CO aims to reduce an individual organization’s handicap through a collective group economy of scale. There are approximately 30-40 Cosmos named organizations in the Star Citizen universe. Most of these organizations do not want to be part of a large group. They value their independence and freedom from organizational rules/control. While designed to aid and assist small organizations, there is no prohibition, no rule to prevent larger orgs from joining the consortium.

gtmoBlue of Cosmos Communications Corp devised this strategy to empower small orgs like his. Through this vehicle small orgs can collectively compete for larger goods & services contracts against larger orgs, while maintaining their independence. These small orgs can provide their goods & services to consortium members first, then look to expand their markets to the wider communities. By banding together, these small orgs can bid on larger contracts, providing larger pools of goods-greater levels of services, and become players in the larger SC economy. Members in the same business sectors may come to see the value of Joint Ventures or corporate mergers to enhance their organizations growth or survival in their line of work. Members may choose to merge horizontally for wider business coverages.

VISION: Cosmos Corporate Consortium – (3CO) “the consortium” exists to create the optimal conditions for the successful, sustainable, and prosperous business environment(s) for our member partner organizations. We strive to help our partner members to become leaders in their respective business sectors/segments within the Star Citizen Universe (SCU).

MISSION: The consortium will advocate for, encourage, & promote both internal business and trade between members, and, help our members gain greater market share in the overall SCU business environment. We will promote shared strategic planning, cooperative agreements, contract sharing, and contract subletting, amongst our consortium partner members. Partner members will be encouraged to ‘band together’ in their common business sectors/segments, for greater economies of scale in contracting efforts. Like company partner members would be wise to merge together in Joint Ventures or merge together into bigger companies.

GOALS:
1) To become an in-game corporate player.
2) To explore the unknown reaches for discovery, development, and new bases of operations; for new resources and potential tech breakthroughs; and for control and exploitation of resources.
3) Leverage our consortium’s broad base of expertise to become a major player in the SC Galaxy.
4) The consortium will create, develop, and foster new businesses & services, as opportunities arise and our consortium Steering Committee decrees.

By growth, acquisitions, and partnerships – Cosmos Corporate Consortium will lead. If for any set of conditions, circumstances, or situational scenarios that we cannot lead – we will settle for Being the Best!

Membership is now open. All player types and organizational configurations are welcomed.
We are open to building this corporate consortium as well as forming alliances, partnerships, and comms groups.

3CO General Operations Procedures

3CO operates within the laws of the sectors we opérate. Although a corporation, we have ethics. In border and unknown regions of the universe, we opérate under our guiding principles and within Good Business and Manufacturing Practices (GBMP).

General Charter Rules!

Any organization can join Cosmos Corporate Consortium, Anyone (individual) can join Cosmos Communications Corporation (3CO) upon sending an application for review. Organizations join after accepting our invitation. Basically every org is a Member and every org has a seat on the Steering Cmte and a vote. When planning activities for the group, we’ll handle this by poll. It will then be down to the Steering Cmte to get everyone in gear.

Cosmos Corporate Consortium – 3CO is a lawful, law abiding entity. Cosmos Corporate Consortium is an umbrella corporation and has Engineering, Exploration, Trading, Resource Development, and Research/Development activities on the books. 3CO reserves the right and authority to exceed these stated activities, and perform any & all activities pertinent to a corporate person. 3CO subsidiary companies will be fully functioning entities in their given area of expertise. 3CO aims to buy other business interests and other organizations. The consortium will buy planets, stations, outposts, etc – in the game – when the opportunity and money presents itself.

Cosmos Corporate Consortium – 3CO has a policy of fairness to all members. 3CO will not tolerate discrimination in any form, bullying behaviors, or vindictive behaviors/retribution by Senior towards Junior members. Division leaders, their Directors, Managers, Supervisors, and all within their area of leadership and control will not tolerate such behaviors, nor other injurious behaviors towards their personnel. Partner Members are expected to have similar policies. When such matters arise, these leaders shall institute corrective actions to:

A) File a complaint case with the Internal Review office of the BoD.
B) Begin an Objective Divisional Investigation (ODI) of the alleged case.
C) Create adhoc SOP, situational actions, achievable work-arounds to relieve harm pending the outcome of B), including the temporary “relief of duty” (as indicated by offense) of the accused perpetrator of offense, pending the outcome of the ODI and the BoD Internal Review findings.
D) In emergency/critical situations the accused individual(s) may continue duties with specific orders to cease and desist offensible actions/behaviors, etc. Upon theembers. The founder does not lead, nor vote. Leaders of other organizations who join 3CO may or may not be elevated to the Board level, and if so – will not be able to vote. Other members of joining organizations will be brought in at levels appropriate, dependent upon the number of missions resolution of Emergent/Critical scenario, such individual may be subject to relief of duty under C) above.

No Piracy, pod killing, slavery, willfull illegal commerce, or taking advantage of weaker players for personal gratification (griefing), or similar conduct will not be tolerated. We want to contribute to making Star Citizen a fun experience that’s challenging for the right reasons. Any members found to be engaging in these activities will be expelled.

Respect – Every member of 3CO is expected to show respect for other members and allies of the organisation, a certain level of maturity is required and no back stabbing or underhanded tactics will be tolerated.

Multiple Organisation Rules – Members belonging to multiple organisations is allowed in 3CO as long as the other organisation’s rules & conduct are aligned with our own. Therefore if an applicant also belongs to a pirate organisation for example, the application will be declined. If it is found that already existing members of 3CO also belong to a conflicting organisation that member will be asked to choose whether to leave that org and stay with us or leave Cosmos Communications.

Secret Organisations – The aim of Cosmos Communications Corporation is to create a close knit group of players who feel they can rely and depend on each other. As such any affiliations must be revealed to The Nine Council, failure to do so will lead to expulsion from our group. Corporate sabotage, spying, subterfuge, tampering, stealing of intellectual properties, stealing of physical properties or equipment, prototypes, R&D prototypes, samples, designs, mockups, etc.; are not permissible, and are crimes. 3CO will prosecute offenders, thieves, sabotures, spies, and outside agents, etc., to the fullest extent of the law.

As a lawful corporation, 3CO does not condone unlawful behavior and activities. We recognize that we cannot “govern” people 24/7/365, so we advise our members to take and stay on the high road, with acceptable behavior and activities. We however also recognize that we cannot police people.

Internal breaches of trust, fidelity, and duty will be properly dealt with. Theft, misappropriation of funds, misuse of confidential or higher level information, spying, misuse or theft of proprietary corporate properties, equipment, and ships shall be subject to both internal punishment and appropriate RSI litigation to retrieve properties and mete out proper restitution.

We do not condone willful illegal or unlawful activities being conducted in corporate ships, and if caught – we will not assist your legal defense. What you do on your own time, with your own ships, is your business – the consequences are also yours.

Inadvertent breaches of law, while conducting escort services, exploration, surveying, Auriga R&D*, and other corporate and subsidiary business activities, will receive the full support of the corporate offices. Auriga Division, Its’ Director, Officers, and staff are a semi-autonomous segment of Cosmos Communications Corporation. Select acquired organizations may also fall into our semi-autonomous status. The Directors of Auriga and select other semi-autonomous groups may sit on our corporate Board of Directors, but not The Nine Council. As such semi-autonomous board members have no vote in 3CO operations and governance…such members take their direction from The Nine Council.

3CO subsidiary businesses shall have their own Boards for corporate governance, but should take their lead from these sets of 3CO documents as the overarching templates, guideslines, and model for constructing their individual governance. Cosmos Communications Corporation has full authority and control of all subsidiary corporations and businesses it owns – as such subsidiary business boards shall Promptly and routinely comply with edicts, dictates, and governance from the 3CO Nine Council, without question nor argument.

Alliances, Partnerships, Cooperative Agreements, and Contracts (with External Organizations or Individuals).

The design, detailing and approval of ALL external agreements is the province of the Cosmos Communications Corporation – 3CO The Nine Council. The composition of said documents ly within the Administrative Department and it’s Director. As such any and all external cooperative documents is at the sole discretion of the 3CO BoD and are binding to the subscribed parties.

Corporate Acquisitions, Subsidiary Companies, Adjunct arrangements.

The design, detailing and approval of ALL external acquisitions agreements and purchases is the province of the Cosmos Communications Corporation – 3CO The Nine Council. The composition of said documents ly within the Legal Counsel, Administrative Department, and it’s Director. As such any and all external acquisition agreements, documents, and purchases are at the sole discretion of the 3CO BoD/The Nine Council and are binding to the subscribed acquisitional parties.

3CO Internal Policies, Divisonal Requirements, Divisional SOPs, and Corporate Culture.

To be drafted by the individual Divisions and their subordinate departments, sections. Such doctrine shall be chopped by division leadership, smoothed, and presented to the 3CO The Nine Council for final chop and approvals. Subsidiary companies shall follow this same guideline, routing to their respective BoD and to the 3CO The Nine Council for final approvals.
