5th Fleet Service Record

5th Fleet was originally a part of the UEE Navy 105th Fleet Squadron assigned to the REDACTED System as Patrol for known Vanduul hunting parties and local bandits attacking and harassing the local mining camps and stations. On 2945 A Vanduul kingship and swarm attacked the mining colony, Members and ships of the 105th Fleet disobeyed the order to retreat through the jump gate to REDACTED to regroup leaving the remaining miners and salvagers of the colony to fend for them selves, 105th held there ground losing their REDACTED as well as many of there sub capital ships and corvettes, and sustained heavy damage to the Javelin and Idris’s main gun, 105th held their ground till the last of the colonist escaped through the jump gate before 105th’s Javelin opened fire with the last of the guns destroying the gate stopping the pursuit of the Vanduul swarm, 105th Fleet limped back to UEE Controlled space taking 2 years where the surviving Captains, Commanders and crew of the fleet were REDACTED Discharged and released from service of the UEE Navy. 105th Dropped 105th in their name and kept the 5th as a memory of the last 5 remaining capital ships and vessels that was able to return home, To this day the 5th fleet is a PMC Organization that take on any contract as a Gun/Ship for hire in either ship escort all the way to Ground troops.
