History

72nd Rescue Squadron History

We are the 72nd Rescue Squadron, an elite rescue organization dedicated to saving lives across the universe. Our origins trace back to a group of UEE medics and personnel who, after completing their distinguished service, recognized a pressing need for specialized rescue operations beyond their military careers. United by shared experiences and a deep-seated commitment to saving lives, we leveraged our skills and expertise to form this elite squadron.

After our honorable discharge, we pooled our resources and established the 72nd Rescue Squadron. From the beginning, our mission was clear: to provide unparalleled search and rescue (SAR) and medical services across the verse. Our efficiency and bravery quickly gained us recognition, attracting talented individuals from various backgrounds who shared our vision.

Maintaining strong ties with the UEE, we often collaborate with UEE Special Operations, providing critical support during high-risk missions and emergencies. Our unique blend of military discipline and civilian humanitarianism allows us to operate seamlessly alongside other organizations, ensuring comprehensive coverage in times of crisis.

Today, we stand as a testament to the enduring spirit of service and sacrifice. Operating advanced medical ships like the Cutlass Red, Apollo Triage/MEDIVAC, and the Endeavor Hospital module, we continue to uphold our pledge to save lives and provide aid, regardless of the dangers we face. Whether responding to distress calls in remote regions or assisting in large-scale UEE operations, the 72nd Rescue Squadron remains a beacon of hope and resilience in the vast expanse of space.
