777th Marine Corps Force Recon

During the Messer Era 2608 the 777th Marine Force Recon was sent into the R.il’a system to conduct an operation to redacted during their excursion the Xi’an’s sensors found the Marines and attacked them and ultimately captured the unit. While in captivity the 777th Marine Force Recon remained completely unbroken. Through months of interrogation the Xi’an learned one thing. These troops didn’t know the truth of what they were defending. The Xi’an intelligence agency House Kr.ē changed their tactics. Instead of trying to get information. They simply gave information instead. They showed these troops the absolute tyrannical and atrocious manor the Messers treat their people. Between the massacres and false flag operations to the starvation of entire planets due to extreme taxation. The troops began to realize they are not the “good guys” they were lead to believe by the regime. The final nail in the coffin was when the Xi’an showed the command section of these marines the transcripts of their conversations to try to negotiate the release of those marines to go home. And the UEE completely abandoned the marines stating “The Empire recognizes no need of Force Recon Marines that did not choose to kill themselves for the greater good.” From this point the Marines of the 777th decided unanimously to defect to the Xi’an and aid their campaign in freeing the people of the Evil Messer Regime. In exchange they wanted the Xi’an’s help rescuing and watching over the families of the marines in the 777th. After their agreement was set the 777th got to work. In 2620 the Marines had began their work in Ernest. Sabotaging strategic assets the UEE was using or planning to use against the Xi’an, collecting strategic information and rescuing their families when able.
Come 2688 The 777th was given the green light to start extracting Civilians fleeing the UEE. The Marines were able to rescue all of their families come 2730. As the Xi’an recognized that there was no longer anything keeping the marines in the service of the Xi’an the House Kr.ē finally offered the 777th one final gift. Coordinates of a system that the 777th could take their families and live in peace outside of UEE reach. Nyx. The 777th then moved into Nyx and fully disappeared in 2744. After that time the 777th Marines began teaching their children everything they knew about Reconnaissance and Small unit strike team operations and how to live and adapt with anything they have access to. Then with the knowledge and principles of protecting those who need protecting the next generation began. The 777th New Generation has picked up the mantle to continue to collect information and help any civilians they can.
